Mr. DeRosa has a diverse background in defense litigation. He has represented clients involving products liability, aviation, construction, motor vehicle and premises liability, toxic torts, workers' compensation and other areas of general casualty claims. Since 1988, he has concentrated in the field of medical malpractice defense. A substantial number of the cases handled proceeded to verdicts in federal and state courts with results overwhelmingly in favor of the defense. Fred is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and is a member of the bar of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Mr. DeRosa is a 1969 graduate of St. Joseph's University. Upon graduation, he served in the United States Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam as a combat signal officer and was honorably discharged as a First Lieutenant in 1972.
