Ms. Herrmann was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Upon graduation from the University of Pennsylvania, she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the national honor society for nurses. She has extensive experience with patient care and administration with a special interest in health care needs of the elderly.

Ms. Herrmann is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has been admitted to the Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She practices workers' compensation law. She is a member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations and the Philadelphia Workers' Compensation Claims Association. She is also a member of The American Association of Nurse Attorneys and is treasurer for the Pennsylvania/New Jersey/Delaware Chapter of TAANA.

Ms. Herrmann enjoys skiing, competitive sailing of small boats, recreational kayaking and reading for pleasure.
