DAVID
A. SHAFIE Mr. Shafie was born in Philadelphia and graduated from Saint Joseph's University in 1994 with a B.A. in English, and received his law degree in 2001 from Temple University Law School where he received distinguished class performance in evidence. During law school, Mr. Shafie clerked for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Peter Scuderi in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Shafie's practice focuses in the areas of insurance coverage and complex liability cases. Prior to joining Bodell, Bove, Grace & Van Horn, Mr. Shafie served as in-house counsel for a national insurance company. In between undergraduate and law schools, Mr. Shafie worked in the non-profit arena for the Police Athletic League of Philadelphia and also for the Academy of Community Music in Fort Washington, where he now serves as a Board Member. His spare time is devoted to his wife and young children. HOME
